Most Disliked
Some patrons feel that the decor, while nostalgic, could benefit from an update, as it exhibits some wear and tear typical of older diners. The busyness during peak hours, especially on Sundays at 11 AM, sometimes leads to crowded seating and longer wait times, which can detract from the overall experience. While the food remains delicious, a few visitors have mentioned that the menu could use a bit more variety in terms of unique dishes. Additionally, during busy lunch periods on weekends, there may be limited parking spots available, which can be inconvenient for diners.
A few reviews complain about occasional inconsistency in dish preparation during peak periods, reminding guests to visit during off-peak times for the best experience.

Another beautiful Diner along our road trip, Pennys is an original diner from the 1950's everything outside the design all beautiful. The inside was even gorgeous. We both ordered breakfast and the food was delicious. The waitress mommy is such a peaceful soul, she's very kind and very professional. Had a wonderful time here and was full of good food when we left.

My son used to call this place "The house with the blue roof" when he was young in the late 90's It was THE place to go. They closed for long period of time with covid. While the décor is a little dated, (it looks like you step back into 7os) it still has a retro charm They STILL have the best feta cheese omelets, and the food is still outstanding. Some of the waiting staff is worked there for 20 years!! Rabbi is one and she is delightful! She greets you with a lovely smile. So it is quiet now, not with the grand business it had at once However, I suggest it's worth a visit. The price points are VERY reasonable in comparison to other diners. The food is still fabulous and the sunlight coming into the windows is great!!

Friendly Greek staff, fair prices and wholesome food. Several desserts on menu. Clean bathroom and ample parking on two sides of the restaurant. In the vestibule is a pay phone. The Fairfield County Libertarian Party regularly meets at this location.
